Connecting to shore power

The van has a shore-power connection for external AC power. The exact inlet and protection equipment still need to be identified.

Installed by Dan Moore in Salt Lake City.

I have not yet documented the inlet, cord, breaker, transfer behavior, grounding, or which loads the connection supplies.

The connection is reported as installed, but the technical details remain open. Identifying the inlet and having the protection path reviewed comes before recommending the setup or linking to an exact product.

This is a record of the build, not an installation guide. Reported completion does not establish inspection, structural adequacy, or safety.

Parts & sources

    Product identification is still pending.

Recorded parts cost

Shore Power Outlet charged line
$37.99

The shore outlet is an individual receipt part line, separate from the shared electrical labor bundle below.

Recorded labor

Shared power charging heater-wiring shore-power and solar-wiring installation labor
$1,745.25

Shared electrical installation labor remains unallocated. This single bundle spans the power station, expansion battery, alternator charging, heater power supply, shore power, and solar wiring; it is not a shore-power-only charge.

A shared bundle is not an additional charge for every system. Where repeated across stories, it refers to the same recorded charge; do not add those repeated references together.

Recorded line amounts, not a current quote or a complete installation total. Discounts and tax remain unallocated; no grand total or per-system labor split is inferred.
