Why the cabinet braces are on hold

I started installing the Timber overhead cabinet structural kit, then paused to resolve fastening problems and its overlap with the ceiling supports.

The steel structure is meant to create a straight attachment line for future overhead cabinets. Holes were started for the supplied rivets, but the manual rivet tool did not work and no completed brace installation is recorded.

That pause is useful. Before work resumes, the exact kit revision, every drilled location, the rivet material and grip range, hidden-utility clearance, bare-edge treatment, and interaction with the AVC ceiling parts all need to be resolved.

This is a record of the build, not an installation guide. Reported completion does not establish inspection, structural adequacy, or safety.
